Instructions for Voters

 

  1. Voter should know his/her Membership No., Decade & Polling booth.

 

  1. Voter should possess either his/her CNIC or Passport or Union’s card or Driving license to prove his/her identity.

 

  1. Voter should obtain a slip (indicating voter’s name, membership number, decade and booth number) from the computer counter, established near GCU Tower in case he/she does not know membership No. and decade.

 

  1. After knowing the booth No., voter should proceed to the Prof. Salam Hall (Old Hall) and approach his relevant polling booth.

 

  1. Voter should show the computer slip to Polling Officer 1, who would check the name of the voter in authentic voters list and verify by his/her photograph from the CNIC or Union’s Card or Passport or Driving license.

 

  1. Polling Officer 2would write Name and Membership No. and get signature of the voter on the counterfoil. He would also stamp and sign on the back of the ballot paper and then handover to the voter.

 

  1. Voter should   √   the names of candidates of his/her choice on the ballot paper and drop it in the ballot box.
